Cliff was a great motivational art facilitator who provided a safe and non-judgmental space for our youth to be able to open up and express their creativity. The experience was therapeutic, inspiring and fun! Thank you Cliff for being a part of our participants’ journey!

I LOVE ART.
I’ve been creating art most of my life. Art provides an opportunity for me to express my creativity and is therapeutic for me at the same time. Over my career as an Artist I have experimented with many types of expressive art including visual arts, dance/movement, music, drama/theater, and writing/poetry.
The process of creating art is a complex experience for me; a mixture of inspiration, fear followed by productivity, bouts of self-doubt and concluding with self-reflection and feelings of satisfaction and pride. I’m at a point now in my career as an Artist where I create art first for myself as an expression of who I am.
French Artist Louise Bourgeois once said, “Art is a guarantee to sanity”. The arts are soothing and nurturing and I believe help us to be healthier. With art, who you are comes out. What I love most about therapeutic art is it’s about just creating and not trying to be a “good artist”. The focus becomes figuring out who you are and what you want to become.
Email/call me to discuss how we can integrate therapeutic art into your organization’s programs or to inquire about purchasing my work.
